  • Got up, fed the cats
  • Made French Toast, fed DW and DD2 (DD1 is in Indiana) and me
  • Started adding more water to DW's pool
  • Yesterday I discovered a zerk was missing on the mower deck when I was prepping it for use. Found one, installed it, greased that spindle, put the deck on and mowed
  • Spent a good half hour plus cleaning the wet grass (though it hasn't rained since Friday) out of the deck.
  • Turned water off in the pool, backwashed
  • Came in for a short rest and forum time (and a Dr. Pepper)
  • Time to go out and split wood now
  • Making lasagna for dinner.

Bruce, you've had a full day! Hope you enjoyed it (or parts of it anyway) :D

Blooie, even if you didn't get to see any of the bears, bison babies or swans, that still sounds like an awesome day! How nice Fee was able to spend the day with her friends at the doggy day care, they sound like some really nice people.
Patio furniture? How do you get it to stay on the deck? With all the wind we get I think the covered run is the only reason all my chickens haven't blown away yet.

My sweet hubs, @Pawpawchick is turning into an awesome vet tech! Two days ago he saw tape worm segments in some dog poop, so we started checking to see who it was. Ursa is now on a 3 day regimen of Panacur.

Today he mentioned some "yellow bugs " on Ocho. Mind you that this rooster was just at the vet and I specifically asked if any external parasites were noted. (Nope) and I check all of them at least weekly with none having been spotted. Lice were running on my poor boy! I must have had ESP because last time we were at TSC I added Poultry dust to the chicken medicine cabinet. We dusted all chickens and the coop. This in the middle of dosing with Valbazen for worms just routinely, since we haven't seen worms in any chicken poop.

Larry holds and assists in all treatment and grooming for our animals, including nail trims, kitten vaccines and hairball meds for our senior kitty! I'm just kinda bragging on him, cause he's pretty awesome!
