Hi Sharron, good to hear from you! Get better soon and come on back :)

Folks, in the fyi category, I'll be out of pocket next week with very limited access to byc.

Thanks for the heads up Bob!

Good had a surprise episode of bleeding from my incisions and a semi panic call to the docs office... totally normal.... Whew...

I graduate to full Bariatric Diet today... which is Cream soups today and one protein drink... a little bit of yogurt as well... I love plain yogurt...
Mom found me liquid adult Tylenol Yay. Walmart encase anyone wants it... Big pills are an issue.

I stay on the full Bariatric diet for nine days... Then I move to semi solids like cottage cheese and stuff.

Still not hungry... so wierd .... Love tastes but not driven to eat from hunger....

deb

Morning Deb, glad things are normal and you're making progress!

Adorable baby!!!!

Sister Bev had her surgery today, so I was sure glad that our trip home allowed me to be here. It was postponed from last week due to a slight cold she was still getting over. Anyway, they removed 16.475 pounds of excess skin and such and it went perfectly. She was back in her room by 1:45, chatting, sucking down ice chips, and wisecracking about bikini shopping. She started this journey almost 6 years ago when Linda first had to start dialysis - Bev was the closest match to donate a kidney but was considered too obese for surgery. So she started losing weight. Even after Linda was taken off the transplant list, Bev worked at it. And after Linda died, she became even more determined. So three cheers for Bev.....May she heal quickly and find that bikini!

Blooie She's in my thoughts and prayers, please tell her my hat's off to her.

12 hours on the road and they haven’t killed each other yet.....
Looks like that is about to happen soon as Katie tightens her grip!
12 hours is a LONG time for anyone.

I'm really sorry to hear of your health issues! But thanks for checking in, we worry when our friends disappear.

I guess you aren't getting the "I'm hungry" signals from your stomach now.

I'll be out of pocket next week
Um, out of pocket??

May she heal quickly and find that bikini!
Wow, that is impressive. Good for her, I'm sure it wasn't easy. 16.5 pounds is a LOT of "Gimme some skin" ;)
