todays auction day today, we didn't go last monday, people show up that never come at any other time, kinda like some on church, only on the holidays they tend to drive and park crazy too, last time we went on a holiday, someone backed into my car, no note or anything, just a scape of white paint, my car at the time was dark green
everyone have a nice day:frow

Good morning everyone!

We had a bit of excitement here last night. A feral cat found it's way into our house (there was a broken window in a window well we didn't know about). Once our 3 house cats and him met, the fighting began. All the snarling/screaming, things knocking over and general rampage through the house is what woke us up. That darned cat managed to find it's way back to the broken window downstairs and made his escape. It took a good part of the rest of the night to account for our 3 house cats, secure the window and for all of us to settle down. Fortunately none of our cats seem to be the worse for wear. Crazy!

Wow! What a day!! The girls finally met the chicks today. You’ll be happy to know that the chick Kendra “cuddled” is still alive and happy as all get-out to be back in the brooder with the rest. The other chicks are just grateful not to have been chosen.

Have the girls named the chicks yet B? They must have been grinning from ear to ear!

They all sound like light weights according to my drinking days and I never was one to get really drunk. But I started young.

Hi ya Pert! Those must have been some crazy days!

Build coops!

Hi Michelle!

Wow!! What a crazy story!! Glad they don’t seem to be hurt!! I am sure but I would keep an eye on them just in case you missed a scratch or something. Libby just had a huge abscess on her neck. Vet thought maybe some scratch they didn’t notice or from her stick eating habits (so scratch from the inside). Some antibiotics and she is fine. Course she’s a dog but still. She has fairly short fur yet they still evidently missed something and this thing was like baseball or possibly softball size.

We've checked them over and will keep an eye on them. Poor things were still a bit skittish this morning.

Glad to hear Libby is fine!

That’s good! I figured you would!! Just figured I’d point it out because we never in a million years expected Libby’s thing! Ha

Awww poor things!! I am sure I would be too though! I mean, it’d be like the human equivalent of confronting a burglar or some stranger in our house! Scary stuff!

And thanks! We all are too! Poor girl. Weird thing is she wasn’t acting any different but it had gone done significantly, totally gone now

I know! He didn't have many other avenues for escape by the time he found the window again.

As DH said last night, thank god it wasn't a raccoon that got in!

I bet they would have fought to the death of he hadn’t escaped! And even though it was 3 on 1, it could have ended very badly for any of them! Glad he got out before that happened! Seems like he was/is also a smart cat fleeing rather than staying to fight 3 cats! LOL

And oh wow yeah I didn’t even think of that! That would have been terrifying! And likely would have ended way worse.
