Also the littles are producing so well. :D we just got a second layer as of the other day. I think it’s Sweetpea. She laid that one way back then took a long break :lau

Now she’s laid 3 days in a row.

Meanwhile, Little One has laid nonstop since she started a little over a month ago. Think she’s only taken like one, maybe two, days off if that. Been laying daily ever since she started. Shells like rocks too. If we ever hatched chicks from her (not possible, no rooster), I don’t know how they would break out of the shell. :lau

I didn’t collect them yesterday so this is yesterday’s and today’s eggs. Only two layers so far.

Oddly he wasn’t interested in them at all. Normally I would have chased him off but he was just sitting there on the other side of the yard, not near them, then walked off on his own. But he was sitting there a bit and scratching a lot (maybe fleas?) and just kinda hanging out a bit. There is another one that’s more mangey looking that stalks them sometimes. And usually when they come through, they circle the pen and spook them and try to get in, but he didn’t seem interested at all so I let him be.

Christofur likes belly rubs but he also likes to grab your arm and hand with his teeth and claws while he purrs away.

There is no such thing as a beautiful fox that close to chickens. Maybe it wasn't paying attention to them at the time be it knows where they are for later.

Your 2 layers so far is 2 more than I have!

Opie doesn't like anyone to touch his belly, that always sets him off big time! Maybe he's ticklish

Kelsey, I'd sure be concerned about that fox too. They're good at hanging around and waiting for an opportunity. Be careful with your flock!
