We found Rascal at the Humane Society when she was about 3, she's 13 now. Was fine until the thyroid tumor thing late last year. Christofur found us at about 3 or 4 months 2.5 years ago. I presume someone said "barns, they need a cat" and dumped him. He has dental resorption which the vet said is fairly common in cats but I've never heard of it and he is the 6th cat to live in my house. Don't recall any cats growing up having it either.

Yeah, and somehow I lost my donut holes and oatmeal cookies on the way home from Walmart. It was a crappy day.

Aww hopefully she’s okay now? And I don’t get people that just dump animals. He’s lucky he landed at your place though!!

Yep she's fine. Went the expensive radioactive iodine route since based on calculations it would have cost just as much or more in the long run to give her meds daily. But now she has slightly elevated blood pressure so we have to give her medicine every evening anyway.

Glad it worked out!! And aw it’s always something isn’t it!? Haha hopefully the blood pressure meds aren’t too expensive?

Luna is 9 and so far very healthy.

Of course they are! $46 with shipping from the pharmacy. Lasts about 3 months though. Now she has some skin allergy as well, $61 at the vet. Just started that. If we need more I found you can get it free shipping from Walmart for about $42. I think we need the vet to send in a prescription though.
