Does that mean you can stay inside and quilt today Cap?

Sorry about the tooth. Good thing your dentist told you that...I've met a couple that would do the root canal anyway just to up their paycheck.
I did do quite a bit of quilting and sewing beads on today. I need more red beads!

Pace yourself Deb! You want to be in good shape when the big moving day happens :)

That's a really nice cutting board!
thanks I am or will. I have about three or more months hopefully I will be in better physical shape by then.

Its big and heavy... I bought Mineral oil today to oil it...

thanks! he's Just one of my game fowls he's had a completely free range diet and is extremely flighty and sleeps in the trees every night. :)

I have a whole flock of these little gems. View attachment 1965116

the only thing they eat is scratch grains. And what ever they can find on 10 acres of fields and woods.. I also have another 15 acres in the back but I don't ever see them out there. I like to keep chickens the way the historic settlers did.
hes beautiful, i have to keep my chickens in a chicken tractor, but we move them around all the time for fresh grass, today i'm taking them to a friends house for the winter, he babysits for me while we're gone

North East ohio. I'm the lower left corner of Canton. Far Enough from the city where the land is cheaper and there's not many people. I'm into restoring old farms like The 17hundreds stuff. most old farms use to consisted of a ball park range between 150 acres to 200 acres. I'm also trying to run a large scale home stead .:p It's cool figuring out where the land has been previously cleared for historic agricultural. I try to clear as much as I can with simple stuff like a chan saw. And that's all I use:th better than an axe and a hand saw like the olden day farmers.

Sounds like a lot of hard work but rewarding too. I hope sometime you'll share some pictures of your farm with us!

Good morning Sharron! Are you getting excited about being down in Florida? I would be!

i envy you, to be away from people and can do your own thing, altho i guess we're lucky that we live in the rural area, we have farms around us so have no close neighbors, just one up the hill, but thats too close with them when they're home, noisy.
i think we went toward canton the first time we went to mt.hope, then cut thru the country back to mt.hope, now if we go we go down 70 to ohio and toward dover, its about three hours for us but i used to love going to amish country and the exotic sales they have
