Yesterday we drove across the mountains and then along I-90 to Gillette. Roads up on top were clear and dry, even at 9500+ Granite Pass. Sunny all the way. Interstate clear, air conditioner running. Today we can't take the mountain route home - chain law in effect on 16 and 14 is really bad. No travel advised across the mountains at all. I-90 blowing snow to Sheridan, Gonna have to fight that to go up to Billings and all the way around. Yeah, he's getting a taste of Wyoming weather, Debby,down south for sure! They always get it worse than we do up here.

I figure mine waddled up to Sweden for a reason. Then after many many generations came to their senses.

I do... Swear like a sailor... My oldest boy if worse though..... Although I've calmed it down as I've aged...

DH called a while ago. He was driving from Cheyenne to our new place and was stuck on the highway. It's snowing up there and there was a nasty accident stopping traffic both ways for at least 2 hours.

You're right DMC! He phoned with an update a bit ago. He was stuck on the highway 5 hours. Got to our new house and found out our king-size bed won't fit in the bedroom. Off to find a Wal-Mart in the next town over to get an inflatable.

I'm not sure how he's feeling about things at this point, poor guy.

Oh no...I feel horrible for him. It will hopefully get better soon!!
 
Good early morning to anyone that's up!

Eggsy, your idea of switching rooms so the bed would fit sounds good but DH says the house is a square with all the rooms the same size (except the bath). Funny, he said it makes the kitchen look big and the living room look small. Today he starts his new job.

The couple that got my flock came by yesterday. Such nice people, wish I would have met them sooner. They are loving having my birds (which makes me happy), they can't get over how friendly mine are vs. the POL girls they got elsewhere. I found a good guy to take care of the yard until the new people move it and he gets our old riding mower in exchange for doing it. The goats will go to their new home Wednesday and I'm ready for that...darned little ones keep escaping. I plug up one place in the fence and they find another.

So obstacles getting knocked down one by one.
