Less is definitely more with that sander DMC, congrats and have fun.
Sometimes we have to learn the hard way!
Hope you have a heater in the shop DMC. Have fun with your new power tool!
Hubby has the wood stove going...nice and toasty! I’m waiting for my paint and brush to dry now so I can put a second coat on.
That doesn't sound bad at all.

We've had such a crazy amount of snow...it's been dumping on us since mid-October. If we get a sudden warming spell in the spring, everyone is saying to be prepared for flooding. That's a big concern to DH, the golf course is located next to the North Platte River. Things could get ugly!
Sounds like you're getting our last winter. This is the biggest dumping of snow we’ve gotten this year. It is deep and so wet. It’ll have to be moved with the loader.

Hope you'll share a picture when you're finished with your project!

Hey San diego is filled with golf courses and they are busy year round... Plus up around my neck of the woods in Jacumba there is a hotsprings... Its a spa comination hotel... Has a full bar and a restaurant. They have a hard time keeping good Chefs because of the distance ... but Hey... Your hubs could buy a plot of land and turn it into a Practice range... In town there is water close to the surface youd only have to dig maybe fifty feet or so to water the green.

LOL. the next town toward San Diego is Pine Valley and they have a few modern things... ATM, A decent Grocery, I dont know about feed store you may have to go more toward San diego which is Alpine. there are at least two along the main road. Alpine is only about forty miles away.

Jacumba land and houses are pretty inexpensive for San Diego Standards three bed two bath on a couple of acres in Town is about 100K last time I checked. Out of town into the desert its Wild west. If you are building you can get 40 acres for around 45 K. put a mobile on Or do a strawbale... the hardest most expensive part is drilling the well. depending on where you buy...

He should be on unemployment right now but is being run through the ringer.
That would be hard here, to get unemployment you have to show 3 attempts at getting work per week. Hard to do when you are driving from Chicago to Odessa, TX (That is a LONG drive!)

use a short piece of PVC pipe... Schedual two if you have it thicker wall.
Sched 2? Does that exist? I know of 20, 40 & 80. 20 is pretty thin walled.

Yeah He and Julia Childs were great together.... They did have a cooking show together for a while.
Hmm, didn't know that. Found this:
"In 1995 he appeared in a PBS special with Julia Child called Cooking in Concert: Julia Child & Graham Kerr."

I love scones too! Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) DH does not, so I rarely get any. What kind do you like to make?
If DH doesn't like them, you get ALL of them!!!

Jacumba land and houses are pretty inexpensive for San Diego Standards
Careful where you buy, might have a wall put up on your property since it is so close to the border with Mexico.

His job is seasonal so he gets unemployment. He doesn’t have to look for another job. It’s something he’s earned as part of his wage. He gets laid off every late fall and goes back in the Spring. My other son is seasonal too and he gets unemployment.
