I'm wondering if the blizzard took out the internet at @N F C s place.

Yesterday was bad, weather-wise, water-wise and mood-wise. Figured I'd do everyone a favor and hibernate all day. I snapped a picture of the WY highway map this morning, apparently most of the state is closed:

The red lines are highway closings and the rest is all advisories of various types.

Our high today will be 10*. As long as yesterday's wicked winds stay away, we should be ok.

How's your garden Sharron? I'm waiting for flowers, herbs and veggies to sprout, but I might harvest some carrots this weekend

coming along im, have some cayenne peppers, some red mini salad peppers that need to be transplanted, mammoth basil, the same, got a couple of head lettuce come up(those i thought would never crack the surface, tomatoes are coming along nicely but my carrots, going to have to replant if i want any down here, will try to take a picture for you of what i have,not much

It sounds like things are coming along well, pics are always welcome!

I put in some golden alyssum, Chinese forget me nots and Nasturtiums so far, but I'd like to add some marigolds and I'm hoping to get some sunflower seeds from a place here that has heirloom and OP varieties specifically grown in our desert.
Waiting on my herbs to sprout, basil and dill, and some squash and peppers too. My carrots have been in long enough the tops are nearly a foot tall and I had a great germination rate this time. Mild winter too, although we're under a freeze warning for tomorrow morning.
