Is the foot hurting? Does the brace fit well?

Yes to both. Part of the problem is the brace makes my shoe too tight so it's uncomfortable to walk. I have new shoes ordered now, hopefully that makes the whole thing fit together better. In the meantime, I'm supposed to wear it just 2 hours per day.

Yep, the splint fits around the back of my calf and down under my foot. Have to wear a shoe with it, it's not made for not wearing one. My new shoes should be here around Thursday, that will make it easier.

No, which surprises me. A little achy in my shoulders and ribs but the pain was bad enough to make me sick a few times. Thanks for asking Cap.

The last time DH & I got it unplugged a big wad of white plastic type stuff came out (I think DH called it plumber's putty?).

That doesn't sound good! Plumber's putty is used on threads to seal the pipes together, kinda like teflon tape. No reason there should be a wad of that in the pipes.

The reason why that happens in this house is because it's company housing. No one that works on it really cares.
