The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Hi @JaeG how are you doing today? Is it cooling off for you now?

It's early morning and it's just started bucketing down outside so that'll get the grass growing. Yesterday was warm but it's set to cool off this week. I'm trying to focus on my Muscovy eggs coming this week and not all the other, scary news, but it's not easy. I don't think anyone here is taking it seriously enough and, surprise, surprise, we have 7 schools that have had to close for disinfecting because either a staff member or student has tested positive. I'm so glad I homeschool our two ratbags.

You guys must need the rain after such a hot, dry summer.

We all need something positive to focus on, I'm glad you have eggs to look forward to.

Afternoon everyone. I made fried eggs and hash browns for breakfast. The spoiled rotten dogs each got a pullet egg. We took them to the park afterward hoping the dog park area would be open. No such luck. However, this evening I'll rake the yard and let them out to the big area tomorrow morning and they'll run, we have an alternative and they'll be happy. I use grapefruit seed extract to wash my fruit and vegetables, found that no problem (I was surprised) along with a good variety of fresh produce today. Scored some bones for the pups too AND found the creamer we like with a digital coupon that saved us 30%. It was a good morning! The weather is nice today so we have all the windows and doors open. Hope you're all having a good day!

Glad you have an alternative to the doggy park! Good deals at the store too.

No open windows here yet, it's in the high 30's. But we'll get a chance some day!

Enjoy your day IM :)

I'm feeling blue today. My favorite cousin passed away yesterday. I hadn't seen her in years, but we were best friends growing up. It makes me want to hug the people I love while I have the chance. 😔
So sorry about your cousin Chrissy, hugs from me too :hugs :hugs

:hugs I know it's not enough, but it's all that I have. I have turned into a world class hugger. Our two grandsons are also big time huggers. The three granddaughters not so much. :idunno

Brrr. That's chilly! I'm thankful we can open the windows and get some fresh air. I hate it when the house smells stuffy and closed up.

Most days I do have the screen door on the porch open, at least a bit. That helps with stuffiness and the cats enjoy it :)

It's nice you can open up your house, nothing beats fresh air.
