Good to hear, Pert...pretty easy being secluded out there in that open country!
I've got my "traveling papers", so I'm 'good to go' ....how I rate an essential business is beyond me! but hey, at least I can still work! Speaking of secluded, I'll be going to the Big Bend this week, job related...it'll be nice to get away from the cities for awhile...a person can do alot of solitary thinking in that 'lonesome' country!

Did your daughter make it back from Halifax Bruce?

Well she got back to Sackville from a school trip to Halifax on the 8th ... with a migraine. The ER doc in Sackville wouldn't give her DHE (or any IV) prescribed drugs for nausea which she didn't have. One of them was the Canadian equivalent of Dramamine which she had already taken earlier in the day, she gets car sick. Ended up spending the entire night of the 9th (her 27th Bday) at the ER in Moncton. Two of her friends had a night class there and took her. They spent the entire night in the ER with her . No DHE available but the doc there gave her something that helped.

Since this virus hit the fan, she stayed in Canada where she has medical insurance. She is covered only for one month out of the country, 3 months outside New Brunswick. Kicked out of the dorm on the 22nd though she went to a friends apartment a few days early. She and a friend are currently at an AirBnB in PEI for 3 weeks, to be followed by 2 weeks at the friend's families' summer camp. They come back to Sackville May 1 for the start of their year lease on a house, planned and signed back in January.

The Canadian border is closed. She was afraid that would happen and she wouldn't be able to get back in before the end of the 30 day period which is why she stayed. So no she isn't back here, don't know when we will see her.

Migraines Mine have left me alone since I had cataract surgery. Cause and effect or coincidence ? Y'all know what I think about coincidence.

We are in the same position with older grandson - stuck in California by choice and circumstance - have no idea when we will see him.

Nothing in life comes free. There is a price on everything.

Retirement made 'tracking days' difficult, and now the Coronavirus lockdown has made things even worse.

I can imagine. Suddenly having no schedule is very weird!

It just has a smoother flavor. It’s kind of like when your coffee maker needs to be cleaned and when it’s done your coffee tastes better.
