I woke up this morning and saw a "special weather statement ". I opened it up to see
"Spring is on hold, and central Albertans are encouraged to remain home". It goes on to say that 10-15cm of snow is expected in the next 24 hours.

I giggled, thinking that it was an April fool's joke..... Then I remembered that it's only the 30th. :th normally alerts are very clinical and the initial notification says "snowfall alert".

Whoever created the saying that "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb" was totally incorrect. I have only seen that happen a small handful of times in my life. It's almost always a nasty end of the month.
