I used a pumice stone which worked quite well. I don’t like oven cleaners and I don’t use the self clean.
thanks dyc, never thought of the pumice stone, i have a self cleaning oven but i'm afraid to use it inside so husband took it outside and rigged it up(propane) to do outside, didn't clean it all the way, going to get a pumice stone the next time i go out

I get mine at Walmart. The ones with handles are a joke.

oh yeah... question
as I was candling last night I had 2 eggs with the air cells on the wrong end. Is there any chance at all of them hatching?
Yes but read Pyxis article on assisted hatching

Has anyone ever tried the baking soda/lemon juice substitute for yeast? I just heard about it the other day. I have lots of yeast, but I've heard that it's very hard to come by right now.
you can find yeast on the net, but the people selling it are ripping people off by doubling or tripling the price

Nasty and cold indeed. Talked to my friend from up by Wilkes Barre, and they are expecting 5" of snow tonight.
we're suppose to get an inch, hoping they're wrong but i do thank the good lord that we're not in wilkes barre, thats a couple of hours a way at least

In the cleaning aisle I think. It’s in a box. It doesn’t jump out at you. It might be by the toilet cleaners.
thanks again, going to hunt for them, my stove only got semi clean with the self cleaning , i wasted a lot of gas and its not cheap
