The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I loved his early books, then it seems he sort of got lost in some stuff I didn't care for. But his books from the past few years are more like his early ones and I've enjoyed them.

That's good to know, I was reading his books when the kids were in school and that was a while ago. I'll look on my kindle for them.

I liked Dr. Sleep, it's a sequel to The Shining.

I'll check this one out as well

Gotcha

Bet it’s heavy!

Hi Sue! One attempt so far. He still has 3 hours yet. One day he had 3 bites in under 15 minutes

Imagination enough to cause nightmares.

That's crazy 😲 I've had biters before but none that bad. At Head Start nobody gets kicked out for any reason. I've been with them for 4 years now and nobody's been told you can't come back, they just move the kid to see if that works.

Yesterday I-80 was closed east of us due to snow. :th

My cousin in Laramie sent me a photo of her yard covered with the white stuff.

Crazy!
AAK!!!!
No, just NO!

If the tomatoes were hybrids, then the volunteers will not be what the parents were. Hybrids do not breed true...In chickens or plants LOL!
My MIL gave me 3 "heritage" tomato plants to raise, someone gave them to her. We have no idea what sort of tomato they are. Guess we'll find out .... if their "days to maturity" are shorter than our short growing season.

Kids are starting to be afraid of our little T-Rex.
Time for him to see a specialist.

He's not to everyone's taste that's for sure. Every once in a while, I like a good scare (as long as it's just in a book and not real).
Do you ever wonder what is going on in a mind that writes that sort of thing? We're probably lucky he isn't a serial killer.

Yep, time for a boot to the butt on the way out ;)
Maybe you should tell the kids he bites to bite him back. Hard. Just make sure they understand that they aren't supposed to tell their parents it was you who told them to bite back ;)

He had 2 more attempts before I left. He does not like to share and if anyone gets in his space the chompers come out. We aren’t a school so we apparently can kick them out. It’s a nonprofit daycare. We have teachers but they can only teach at daycare. We don’t have enough extra staff or the extra money to deal with them one on one.
Another got let go yesterday. He will be able to come back come school time if the parents get him help.
We had brothers sent home today. They were fighting over a toy which resulted in the younger brother getting mad and tearing out of the room and he got through the hallway into the gym and was going to run out the door at the other end of the building. The teacher got him to stop by threatening to call the cops. He turned around and flipped her the bird and said F U. He’s 4.

That might start a chomping epidemic :th
