Dear are a nuisance! Our dog keeps them away thank goodness.

My Papillon chases them, but we have discouraged Mini from chasing them. Not good for a big dog to chase deer.

Finally did get that cake all done I talked about yesterday. One chocolate cake with chunky peanut butter frosting coming up! DH is going to lose his mind...chocolate + p-nut butter is his favorite anything.

My car needs repairs, my windshield got hit by a rock, and the deer ate my nectarines and pears right out of our fenced garden. I knew we needed a higher fence. I might be forced to have a fuzzy navel tonight.

The wonderful news is most stroke victims have the constant headaches for six weeks and we're having headache free periods after 4 weeks. I'll take it.

ETA: She is so chipper when her head doesn't hurt.

I like coleus, you can get such pretty colors in them. One of the things that surprised me the most when I moved to the FL Keys was seeing coleus used as hedges outside people's houses, they were enormous. I had only seen the potted plant size before.

Your day messing with the garden and plants sounds nice Sharron!

once in a while i need to just do flowers, veggies are great , i like to eat , but flowers, food for my soul

We stopped ours also. Just her presence deters them. She barks at them but not obnoxiously.
