I just realized that you live about an hour from my mom & sister. They live in Lotus!

Sadly the Storm has caused a red fire alert for the entire bay area. Dry lightning has caused a lot of fires already. The alert goes until 11pm tonight

What are you up to today Rene?

I was just out messing with the chickens before it gets too hot. I look like a summer temp wimp compared to Ron, but then, I get 6 months of freezing winter so guess it evens out.

Today I'm trying a new one for General Tso's Chicken. I'll let you know if it's sharing-worthy.

I was just out messing with the chickens before it gets too hot. I look like a summer temp wimp compared to Ron, but then, I get 6 months of freezing winter so guess it evens out.

We will be heading home today. I'm washing the sheets & towels we used at my daughters house, so she can just come home & relax.

On the chicken front, my son said he's been bringing in about 5 eggs per day. Sounds like more of my girls are doing their job...

It's going to be over 100 for the next 3 days at home & then it drops into the 90's. I like the warm weather, but I get tired of it when we have to many days over 100!

What's on your agenda, besides staying cool?
