Tree guys are coming to take down some dead trees along the front of my property and one by the dog pens. Ash trees are all dying here. Just got back from taking all of the dogs to the beagle club for the day.

I have - got these old bones moving early. Tree 'boss' just stopped by to refresh his memory of the job. Crew is working about 10 miles from here. He estimates they will be here at 11 or so.

I'm seriously tired of this crap. Younger grandson's birthday is today and we can't see him because of the rising positivity rate here in NJ - 8.22 today and going up. Thanksgiving is in serious jeopardy and who's counting on Christmas ? The Princess and I are good together, but we miss our family. After our older grandson's birthday future grandson-in-law got sick and grand daughter was scared that he had infected us. Turns out it was not Covid, but they are protective of the 'old folks'.

Our County is back into the highest level for covid here again. If the numbers are still up next week, then we go back to the highest levels restrictions.

I better get a hair cut before then!

Our County is back into the highest level for covid here again. If the numbers are still up next week, then we go back to the highest levels restrictions.

Thought you'd all like to see our little Trouble. He will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. He is occasionally jumping into the water bowl for a quick splash (much to the indignation of his mother) but doesn't seem as messy with his drinking as our other ducklings were (I would never have given them an open bowl like I've given Trouble).


They had to stay inside yesterday but today looks ok weather-wise so Sunflower will be able to find him bugs to eat in the grass.

How adorable is that they just love to be messy and just don't get in the way . How's your weather been? How are your animals doing? I can't remember what you have though .
Ours can't make up it's mind warm turning the day and then freeze overnight. I'm hoping for no cold or anything else!

He is going to be bigger than his foster mom soon
