The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

My SIL had two old folks that live at the home she works at catch covid a second time and die after surviving the first time.
So much for immunity once you've had it :(

That is the same with the place my SIL works at in Missouri. To top it off, She has a second job at Walmart in the Deli and one of the workers there tested positive for COVID. Of course they are not quarantining like they should after a close contact tests positive...She is worried that she might get covid
Might be one reason MO is #15 on the new cases per 100K people list. I hope your SIL is OK.

70's that's great. We had those temps last week too, but I think they are gone for the rest of the year!
Here too, today was the last day and it was low 60's. Low tonight 43°, high tomorrow 47°.
Low Friday 32°, high 47°. Of course it is usually about 5° colder here than the forecast.

It was 35F here this morning
That is pretty cold for your area!

we have been climbing back up around here---getting ready for increased restrictions
Here too, 72 new cases yesterday which is a huge jump for us, 5 people in the ICU. We used to be a "green" state, now yellow. New restriction as of yesterday - ANYONE coming into the state including VT residents (unless they work out of state daily, did a quick "in and out" medical trip or child visitation swap off) MUST quarantine for 14 days; can get tested after 7 and if negative can stop the quarantine. Of course it takes a few days to get the results.

What kind of sponge? I’m all for less mess.
A big one! The guy who worked on our prior house was an artist with a taping knife. I don't think he even owned sandpaper.

It's a pacifier! :)
DD1 got a pacifier when we wanted our little fingers back. She had that darn thing until she was 3 or 4. DD2 got a pacifier, spit it out and never looked back.

I don't really like seeing babies with pacifiers but that has to better than them chewing on spiders. ;)
What, you are dissing free protein?? :D

I can think of many other ways to get an intake of protein, spiders are last on my list :)

I wish! I learned a lot from the series of you tube videos. Some we knew, some we didn’t. That guy was good too.

My day just takes me off, I get out of bed and just go with the flow. It's been a busy morning. It's getting cold here and I'm dreading this coming winter so preparation is in order.

What are you up to today?

Good morning Marie 🙂 have a great day!

Today will be like most others, get up, have some coffee or hot cocoa. Then do some reading and then some cleaning. After that, I'll probably just putter around doing this and that 🤔.

Good morning Marie and all.

Good morning DMC 🙂 have a great Thursday
