The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Those sound adorable. I'm looking forward to seeing some if you can get a photo of the little cuties.

I'm looking forward to seeing you duckies too @igorsMistress - what kind are you hatching?
Did you see my adults?

You see my wife has terminal cancer
:( Oh I am SO sorry to hear that. How are you and the family coping?

here you have it, it is just a name the girl called it at the DMV

Bruce, what Mark is referring to is a drivers license compliant with the Real ID act.
I figured it out with Swamp's description. They girl meant "fly" meaning it is an ID you can use to fly within the US, Canada and Mexico.
Before 9/11 we could go in and out of Canada with our VT driver's license (even before they had pictures on them). Vermont has had Real ID enhanced licenses available for many years because they can be used to to travel by land or sea to Canada or Mexico. I'm surprised all border states didn't offer them. I think ALL states now require Real ID licenses for identification, many had an extension for a couple of years after the "required by date" had passed.

I've had a passport since 1985 so I didn't NEED an enhanced license but I got one anyway since I don't need to remember to bring my passport and it can live in the safe deposit box unless I fly internationally (which I haven't for many years). When DW renewed her passport she got a passport card and then a basic "driver privilege" card from the state. The passport card is good for 10 years, the enhanced license only for 4 so it is actually cheaper to get the passport card if you are getting a passport since the card and enhanced license serve the same purpose. I got a passport card when I renewed the passport last year, will likely go for the cheaper "driver's privilege card when that comes up in March.

I'm thrilled to have a new Hoover that actually cleans. I've just cleaned the chickens out
 you aren't supposed to use the vacuum to clean out the chickens!!
;)

The headaches are still here, but fairly low most days. They are just enough to make my day difficult, but not horrible ( if that makes sense ). I really like the days when I am headache free 😊. Thank you for asking.
:hugs I am familiar with that Sue, glad they’re fairly low key. Hope you get more days without them than with!
