Good morning everyone. We had Chinese food for dinner last night from a hole in the wall with really good food; we go there on occasion. I never buy potatoes in a bag but did because I needed a lot for the meal and they were all green and looked nasty on the inside. Never will do that again.
Daughter came home and told us the guy she sent home sick yesterday tested positive for covid so there’s that.

Glad you had a good dinner. Hope your daughter hasn't picked up anything from her co-worker and brought it home.

It was a great day. Change of plans resulted in us going to our daughter's home with Maggie in tow. The pugs took one look at her and retired to their room. Jeter the black lab and her played for a major portion of the evening. During the 4 hours that we were there I took her outside twice, and she immediately urinated and defecated each time - no mistakes in the house. She slept on my lap the entire hour and a quarter drive home. I slept until 7 AM - the longest since we have had her, and she never made a peep. Right now she is sleeping with her head on my feet. She owns us already.

On the way home the Princess asked, "Do you think we have been exposed." I replied, "Ten days will tell the tale." Daughter and SIL both work from home and grandson schools virtually, but realistically you never know.

Good morning all!
Monday? I hope it's not.. haha. I was so lazy yesterday. Me and the kids are our candy until we had belly aches. The boys were 100% content with all their Christmas gifts and it was nice. I forgot to send one of my cousins a Christmas card and didnt realize it until last night, of course I forgot someone.
Today, I am taking the boys to see a great grandma they haven't seen in 4 years because she's very weak. But she thinks of the boys every holiday with a card and $$. I decided it was a good time to do a quick social distance hello/thank you/merry Christmas at the door. It's an 1.5hr drive but considering how much she does for the boys without actually being here, I thought it would be better than just getting a package in the mail.

It was great 😍 we played games after eating and laughed so much it hurt!! We bought games for the family to have real time together. One is called Shark Bite, you have to fish inside his mouth without getting bit. Katrina loved it until she was the one getting bit 😂😂. Then there is the Pop up Pirate, you stick swords in a barrel, then pull them out one at a time until the pirate pops up, she loved this one and Ants in Pants. Those ants were flying all over the place 😂.
We did FaceTime with Sarah's house after we got home 🤗🤗

Aweee that sounds amazing! How fun! I am so glad you all were able to have that with the kids. I heard the shark bite game was fun, never heard/seen it until one of the boys got it. Gonna have to try it out!

Oh no, I hope she didn't get it. Praying he recovers quickly!

That is really nice you and the Princess were able to spend the holiday with family! That's impressive that Maggie did so well! She's a smart girl :) and a real foot warmer :lol:
Y'know, that's the truth... you never know until it's too late. It sucks that you can't have even a small get-together without that being in the back of your mind. Even being as safe as possible.
