our drifts are almost 30 inches high in spots--hard to tell how many inches fell

I'm measuring 18" on the flats - not a lot of drifting here - yet.

I was just listening to NPR radio last night, and that was what they were saying about east NJ. Luckily you have a neighbor like Richard to help with the snow. I can't imagine that much snow everywhere.

Just try not to overwhelm yourself. Paid holidays sounds really tempting but is it worth it?

Front sidewalk is cleared, deck is accessible but not cleared, parking area is 3/4 cleared, and the Princess's car is cleared. Generally she helps with the shoveling, but today because of her recent cataract surgery I deemed that a bad idea. Miracle is that she listened to me.

Mailbox is gone. Snapped right off the support pole. Apparently I did a good job on installation as the pole is not even loosened. Hopefully I can find the same type unit and simply replace the support arm.

Too bad about your mailbox Sour, that's surprising the pole is still ok!

How's the Princess doing recovering from her surgery? Good call on no shoveling for her.

Good morning everyone. Hubs came home early yesterday and is off until he gets a negative covid test which he can’t take until Saturday. The instructor whose class he took over yesterday has it. The instructor had no fever, just felt tired and run down so his wife made him get tested. At least hubs gets paid and doesn’t have to use his PTO.

I hope that the test is negative!
