Thanks DMC! It didn't use to be like this. 5 acres is not enough of a buffer & sadly there is a big language barrier with most of the neighborhood.

Good morning all! I'm so tired this morning. The neighbor had a party yesterday it started around 1pm and it didn't end until 1:15am. If they do this again, hubs is going to talk to him. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Good Afternoon!

I was able to get the first Covid vaccine yesterday. The system changed to allowing those working in Education and not specifically Teachers. Other than a bit of a sore arm, now reactions except for a bit of muscle soreness.

It was the Moderna vaccine so I go back on April 17th for the second one

Lucky you! The US has been impressive in how quickly they've made the vaccines available. Do you have to pay for it?

Our government is sooooooo sloooooooooow about doing anything - very frustrating.

Are they new neighbors?

They've been here for a few years! Summer before last they had a band and they were not very good, but they would practice for hours! I was talking to a friend and she knows the guy...anyway she said something, kind of funny to him and it pretty much stopped. So we were hoping we were beyond that issue. The thing I'm afraid of is that they now have large tents and portable toilets set up out there. We're hoping they were just celebrating a Quinceanera or something and they aren't planning on making it a regular thing. We almost went over to talk to them last night, but decided to let them have their fun...but we will definitely be talking to them if it continues to happen. I hope it doesn't, we really don't like having to do something like that, but I want to be able to enjoy my home and you know when the bass is reverberating inside of your house that it's way to loud!

Sounds to me like it may be on going. You have every right to enjoy your home. There is no way I would put up with it. I’m not a music fan at all and especially when the bass is cranked. When we go camping I have earplugs along in case people get loud. For the most part they are courteous of their neighbors. Good luck!
