All I can say is, this is so hard. Kids have been wonderful! So thankful for them. A couple stayed with me through the days as he passed. Then one daughter stayed one more night. The kids that live here we're in California for a wedding. They got back the day before he passed. I'm so grateful they are home..I'm not alone. Thank you for prayers.

Good afternoon Febby, thanks! I hope you’re having a good day.
My garden is just in maintenance mode. Still have some Armenian cukes, watermelon and jalapeños out there. The carrots aren’t looking well but I’m watering them anyway. I hope they’ll make it thru summer and come back in the fall.

No! It’s all relative. I remember wearing shorts in winter for a few years after we moved to So Cal when I was a kid. Everyone else was wearing parkas and looking at me like I was an idiot.
