Good idea mowing early.
We will go there again. I liked that park. It was a county park and almost half the price of a state park.

From the picture you shared, it was a pretty spot!

I almost got the front mowed and then my batteries died. Hope they don't take long to recharge, I want to finish up before the heat comes.

yes! and at peak times don't use your electric sucker appliances you can use at a better time! planning helps--keep shades down/doors closed

We definitely have the drill down here!

I do my baking in the morning on hot days and rarely use the big oven. I use my counter top convection toaster oven most of the time in the summer. It does not heat up the house like the big oven.

Folsom lake is so low, they were able to get to a plane that crashed in the deep part back in 1965...and recover one of the bodies!

I re read the article and it looks like they saw the body of the pilot but did not recover it yet. They are waiting for the lake level to go down more. It is at about 160 feet deep now.

Our reservoirs and lakes are scary low too. And we're fighting fires. Went to the grocery store this morning..saw all of these men coming in wearing the same brown shirts and pants, they looked as though they had tried to clean up. I asked them who they were with..found out they're here from California helping with the fires. Had help last year too from outside states.

Our County fair grounds often become a base camp for fires in Napa. The fairgrounds are about two miles from my house. It becomes a little village!
