Good morning , Everyone. Tonight the baseball player graduates high school = the last grand to do so. Two college graduates, one senior, one sophomore, and one freshman this fall. Where did all of those years go? Treasure every moment, Folks.

Those of you facing excessive temperatures - are you also threatened with possible power shortages? It's looking as if that may become a significant problem in parts of the country.

Congrats to the graduate Sour!

I haven't heard of any possible power outages here but my city water pressure is down. Guess it's all the watering and swamp coolers.

So far we are doing ok. Let’s hope it stays that way!

Yes but we are supposed to be notified before it happens by a couple of days. No notification here

We aren't facing power shortages, but severe water restrictions are a definite possibility.

Here residential water gets restricted first. It's a bummer because in this area, if you don't water your lawn it dies quickly.
Water rights are very complicated in California!

Some have historic water rights from 100 years ago that guarantees a certain amount of water. Farmers are allocated a percentage of what they get in a normal year based on the lake level.

Then there are differences between Federal and State lakes!
