Well good luck! For some reason I thought you did that recently, or was it someone else? It’s possible I’m losing my mind too
My day will consist of checking the live trap. These raccoons are driving me nuts. We’ve trapped 3 and Hattie found a tree with 4 in it…right over my clothesline. There were 3 more on the camera this morning and none went into the live trap. We have skunks getting in the coop too. They actually dug under the sides to get in so we hauled in more dirt. I do not want to trap them but not sure how to get rid of them.

You aren't losing your mind DMC, I've been dragging my feet on getting the windshield replaced. It's a big expense and hassle but the crack is getting bad enough I'm going to have to bite the bullet.

I’m glad that is something that is covered on our insurance. I’ve had them come and do it right in the garage.
The critters can go away!!

Here is our watering system.
We need to get it going again, but if it doesn't work out for winter this would be great. It didn't freeze, so that worked out, the chickens just quit using it. We used a heated dog dish last winter.

I know, it's huge...I'm pretty sure I heard her. I told hubs, "one of the girls is sure sounding off out there"...then I went out and found this egg...lol!

Or the waterer Ron posted. 3 gallons and works to -20°F. That would be quite good. I've been using a heated dog water dish. It hasn't frozen yet. Well the FIRST one did, when the heating element apparently bit the dust.


And if you got said cow, she would probably expect YOU to milk it!

I've had good luck with a heated dog water dish too. Well, except the one I accidentally broke shoveling snow out of the run.

We used one last winter too! You do get some snow!

I like our Walmart curbside pick up--it makes me keep to a list and I am not doing impulse purchases. There is no charge for the service, and they put it in your car!

A second good morning to all, I went back to sleep until thunder woke me. We’re getting some rain so we’ll see how it all shapes up. Really hoping for a gulley washer!

You guys can sure use it! We could use some rain too. Hubs washed the car and then it rained, but just enough to mix with the dust in the air and to make it look dirty again...

Just got back home from trying to find the auto glass place again. No luck. So I called their other location...the one I've been trying to find isn't there any more. Someone needs to update the internet info.

Anywho, I now have an appointment for Mon. the 26th to get it replaced.
