The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

This morning was fine - this afternoon is a little "iffy". Having some chest pains again today, which I have learned after getting it checked out a few days ago, is fairly common after a heart cath and stent, but that doesn't make it any less scary. Over the scary now that I know what it is, but it's still uncomfortable. After some reassurance on how to tell the difference between post-stent pain and pain that I need to be seen again for, I felt better but still need to get a handle on it.

Morning was perfect - any day I have Kendra is pretty close to perfect! She has been back since Monday and she was so happy to be back at Gramma's! What a joy she is!

I can understand how that would be frightening Blooie. It's helpful they gave you some direction on how to judge what's expected and what to watch for. When do you go back for a check-up? How nice you and Kendra are back in your routine, I'm sure she's a happier camper to have Gramma back!

Hey sour, good day to you sir! I'm passing this along to you all so you can have a chuckle (or shake your heads)...Sumi found it on FB: A conversation I had yesterday morning...seriously: Me: Hello? Person: Hi. I heard you haVe chicks for sale. Me: yes I do. What can I help you with? Person: I have a couple of questions first. Me: Okay. I will do my best to answer them. Person: Do you have vegitarian chickens? Me: Um...what? P: Yes, I only want vegitarian chickens. I don't want chickens that eat bugs and frogs and stuff. Me: Uh, well, can I explain... P: Also, are all of your chicks freerange? I don't believe they should be in cages. Me: Well, they are only a week or so old, so... P: And I need them to be litter trained, because I don't want them pooping everywhere. Me: Wait...WHAT???? P: And I want 3 roosters and 3 hens each, but I only want breeds that don't crow because I am in the city. Me: So, let me get this You want vegitarian, litter trained, free range babies that won't make noise. Correct? P: Exactly! When can I come get some? Me: I am so sorry. We are all sold out of those for the rest of the year. P: Oh, darn. I told my husband we should have ordered earlier. Me: Wow. Okay. Thank you for calling. Side note...hot coffee coming up through the nose hurts very very much, as does th resulting choking on it. (cross posted, so if you have seen this...I apologize. And no, this seriously was not a prank call.) :gig :idunno :lau
It's good to end the day with a lsugh
