Good morning Chris! The hands are finally all better, thanks for asking.

Hey, I saw on one of the "welcomes" you set some fertile eggs under a broody girl for hatching. Are you part of the Easter HAL?

Good to hear about the hands - nah no HAL for me. My broody's doing all the work so it seems a bit cheeky of me to join in

I actually wanted some white leghorns, but they were all spoken for - its a bit of a pain waiting for a hen to go broody as planning is a little problematic. Still, I got me some fertile eggs yesterday and set them this morning. After that, my little black cockerel should be old enough to do his thing, and then its game on for sex links!

BTW - i reckon the hairy leg stuff has freaked Phil out a bit - just seen him on the French Frogs thread begging to be part of it - poor man

Poor Phil, I don't think anyone intended for the hairy leg chatter to be so traumatic (I thought it was pretty funny myself). He better not desert us!

I don't have to shave at all during jeans season - I'm single and don't have too!. But since menopause the crop has greatly diminished anyway.

My crop on my head started to greatly diminish years ago

No I went to bed...then could not sleep again
