Eggsy so glad the cheesecake turned out well for you! I'm using the same recipe for DH's b-day "cake" tomorrow but I'm going to switch it up a bit with an Oreo crust and red raspberry swirls. At least that's the plan. After making quiche for tonight's dinner and burning myself THREE times, I'm hoping tomorrow goes better in the kitchen.

Oreo crust sounds really good. I guess you do not have to add the melted butter with them.
Sorry about the burns .I hate days like that. I will go months with kitchen successes then everything turns on me and I give up for a few months.
Try the toothpaste on the burns. The blacksmiths swear by it.

Me too, no necklaces, or rings, or bracelets, watches etc. My skin won't allow it. Hates belts and eye glasses but accept sunglasses - go figure.

Turning 40 was horrible for me - 50 was a breeze, I don't even remember 60, tho I do have some trepidation about racing towards 70.
