wait, what?

you mean......

oh heck, nevermind.......I'm not starting this kind of trouble on a Monday morning.....

Moved 6 times? Moved 8 times? Pfffftttt - amateurs! Navy wives don't collect nic-nacs.....we collect curtains. It doesn't matter what the new place is like, and how well the rest of the stuff fits into it, the curtains WILL NOT FIT the windows. On the one, rare occasion where the blue insulated drapes did fit the living room window, there were 3 other windows in there and only the one pair of drapes from the old house, and no more matching ones to be found. Ended up having to buy new ones anyway. (That was wayyy before the internet)

We recount the passage of years by places, not dates. Kenny's broken arm was San Diego 2 (meaning 2nd time we'd moved there), Tam's first date was Great Lakes, Illinois 2, Terrin learned to ride her bike in Millington, Tennessee.....you get the drift. But it was a good life - our kids saw things and did things that other kids just read about. They caught shrimp in the Gulf of Mexico, went crabbing and clamming in Washington state, spent one Saturday a month at either Sea World, Knotts Berry Farm, or Disneyland, had Horseshoe crab races in Connecticut, fished in the Mississippi River in Tennessee - yep, it was a good life!! Sometimes I look up at the ceiling here and wonder, "How did we end up living here so long I have to worry about cobwebs?"

Good morning! Time to start a new day, hard to believe March is almost over.

Chris, what kind of fun holidays do you have for us today?

I guess we have to bow down to your superior nomadic past Blooie. We are indeed rank amateurs! If you remove your spectacles, you'll find that the cobwebs disappear, as if by magic

Good morning Debby (well, at my end at least).

Here are today offerings...
Today is Knights of Columbus Founders Day!
Today is National Lemon Chiffon Cake Day!

Today is National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day!

Today is Smoke and Mirrors Day!

Today is Texas Love the Children Day!

Today is Vietnam Veterans Day!

If its smoke and mirrors day then surely the others don't exist? All too complicated for my little brain.

I agree, way too early or just too complicated. Who comes up with this stuff anyway?

I'd say someone who sits around smoking far too much weed!
