Morning sunflour and WV!

Chris, if you feel the need, don't wait on me...you do what you need to do, lol.

It's sort of funny about this offer. It's from the same couple as before. The realtor took them out to see the houses they could get with the lowball figure I turned down and now all of a sudden they can afford to make a better offer on our house. Do you suppose they checked under their couch cushions and found a few more dollars?
Nah Debby, i reckon they have joined BYC and want to buy the house cos NFC once lived here - kinda like wanting to live in Gracelands

Have any of you been to Graceland, former home of Elvis? I saw it some years ago. Wow, that crazy 70's (?) décor...mile high shag and all. I was impressed by all the commendations he received for doing so much for the local community.

Nah, I've not been to the US, unless you count the US Virgin Islands, and I'm not too sure I'm missing out on Gracelands, but it takes all sorts in this little world of ours.

Busy folks this morning.

"Patience of a saint" - go tell that to a monkey.

NFC, hope the offer is acceptable.

Morning, all.

I have just GOT to share these photos of Kendra. Her preschool went to a farm today...the owners of the farm happen to also live across the street and have horses in their corral, which Kendra just loves to watch. "My horses, my horses!" I just wish she wouldn't stand up in the recliner to see them! The people out there were incredible! All the kids had a great time and the guys working there made double sure that Kendra got to experience it all. Of all the pictures taken today - and you know me so there were a LOT - these are hands down my favorites! This calf had just been born this morning. Grampa held it so she could pet it. And then she got to feed it! The bottle was almost as big as she was, but she got the job done! Not one bit scared! "My cows! My cows!" Boy, did we have to scrub the tires on her chair!! That lady in the orange jacket is Kendra's aide in preschool and we all love her to pieces! Kendra will have her next year in her new preschool, and then in kindergarten. If we have our way, she'll be with her all the way to graduation! She so fell in love with the tractor. And once Chris showed her how to honk the horn, it was bliss...for her. The rest of us not so much!
So cute Blooie! John Deere are the tractors we own here too

It is funny Debby, but I think lowballing is common these days. When we bought our house 3 years ago, we thought it was over priced, so we made a kinda low offer. We figured we would go higher, but it had been on the market for a few months and we had just started looking. We were surprised when they accepted our offer. I'm glad they did, because we never found anything else close to what we wanted, for anywhere near the money.

That's how we bought our house in 1994 - it had been on the market 2 years and we were the only lookers, but got an appraisal (which the realtor thought was way too low) and offered that and they took it. And then found they could not find a better one or location, so they built one in the same neighborhood and later divorced and moved away.

@N F C With the current economy here, many are selling really low just to get a sale. It is standard practice now to offer ridiculously low and hope you are desperate. So, now they know you are not going to give it away, and they likely really want it a better offer should come.

Never been to Graceland, but have always wanted to visit there - Will add the former home of N F C to the tour :)

No flea markets today, have to replenish my shabby wardrobe - need some work appropriate clothes and shoes. I hate shopping for clothing - but cannot put it off any more. Even my Hens are laughing at my attire.

Also have to get something appropriate for golf, had given it up a number of years ago, but DH and I have joined a local club and cannot wear blue jeans there:(

Gotta get going, see y'all later.
