The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Too hot for me....

Whew, what a day. The family showed up, took cart rides around the course, we got each of them a shirt from the pro shop then we went to lunch. Fun and just long enough.

DH discovered a big leak in the main water pipe (it feeds the irrigation system) and spent hours up to his knees in mud. He'll be back in it tomorrow once he finds a part he needs to fix it.

Some latecomers showed up to play golf and even though it's after 9pm and dark out, they're still out there (DH is at the course waiting for them to finish up). Lucky me, I got to come home at 8.

Re: Berts, I'll match Blooie's quarter to chip in towards his ransom. I bet he's just really enjoying himself too much to get back to the routine yet.

Hope you all have a good evening!

Good morning all

Glad that you had a good day yesterday, Debby. Sorry to hear about the mud-wallowing woes of DH. I have am clueless at fixing stuff - sounds like it may be better that way

I'll put 10 Kenya shillings into the mix for BertS' rescue.

Have a good day

Hey, Berts, you're not 25 anymore. At least that's what my doctor always tells me. Glad you're back, and hope the experience was a good one.

Hey, chatters, the road trip is canceled. I'll be investing all of the donations.

my son is a good football player, with tons of heart, and a great coachable attitude. he got to play with superstars. there were truly some gifted athletes there. He did fine, and got several plays on defense, and a couple of tackles. nothing great, but he didn't make any mistakes either. with the caliber of players on the field, I consider that a very good thing.

Morning everyone!

Hi Berts, welcome back. Sounds like your son did a fine job and had a good time too. Great experience for him. And a day off is always a good idea for any of us
