Good morning everyone!
Humidity...bleech! Don't miss that (but I sure would miss air conditioning, that's what gets me through the summer).
The salads are all gone now, none went to waste. Today we're going to spend a good portion of the day making spaghetti and meatballs for the men's golf league meeting tonight. Any leftovers from that will definitely go fast, lol.
Yesterday's conversation with the car insurance people went as expected (not well, lol). Since they seem to enjoy sitting around with their thumbs up their whatsits, I told them they could look forward to hearing back from me again today...and every day until they settle up. Hope that brightened up their day!
You all have a good one, gotta get ready for the day.

Yesterday was a long but rewarding day. The Men's League had their usual Wednesday game and then we served them dinner courtesy of the man in charge of the league (spaghetti with huge meatballs, tossed salad, garlic knots and frosted brownies). They loved it! They've already asked us to make dinner for them next week
It was so gratifying to see them enjoy what we made...made that long day totally worth it. DH and I loved doing it, we work together very well.
Next week's menu...pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, cole slaw and giant chocolate chip cookies. The guys are already excited about it!
Time to get ready to get to work, I hope you guys all have a wonderful day
