Forgiven, SF. It certainly was a female goat that won the milk squirting event - at least i hope so

I know, at first I had another impression

This is too funny:

A pet chicken balloon, weighted to stay upright so you can "walk" it on the attached leash.

:caf   Good morning, Ken.

I did tackle some chores and visit with my flock:)   But mostly sat on the bum :idunno

Going to do something fun today, DH is getting back to normal - just lifting restrictions for several weeks.

Glad your hubby is getting back to normal!

Sunflour, I'll take a flock of those balloons!

I'm making apple crisp for a friend and cleaning my house....does that qualify?

It does if that's fun - I used to love house cleaning but I grew up

Slow morning here...found this article and thought I'd share. Maybe not all new news but the part about chickens dreaming was interesting to me.

Good find Debby. I especially like the part:

"Chickens have another phase of sleep that humans lack, however, called USWS (unihemispheric slow-wave sleep), in which one half of the brain is resting, while the other half is awake. This is why chickens can be seen sleeping with one eye open and one eye closed, an evolutionary adaptation that allows them to keep watch for predators while they doze."

Maybe some of us do that as well and why we wake up to easy or wake up only HALF rested:)
