An ongoing war of wills with Bam Bam today. He's been having runny stools for the past week so the vet wants a sample and a visit tomorrow.

Two problems with getting a sample...I can't take what's in the litter box because the litter itself messes with the lab tests and also, he shares a box with Pip so not sure who did what. He's supposed to use a box with torn paper and stay in a room by himself until mission accomplished.

What an ornery little escape artist! Just chased him back into "his" room and barricaded him in for the 3rd time (each time beefing up the security). Boy is he mad!

Anyone know how to make a cat poo on command when and where you want him to?

grab them around the neck, and squeeze while slowly working your squeezing hands down towards his stomach......think like getting the last of the toothpaste out of the tube.
 
YAY! Bam did it and is free once more.

On another note...DH & one of his grounds keeping employees just stopped by the house. Apparently we had 5 minutes of snow this afternoon. And I missed it. Oh well, guess I'll have plenty of other chances.
 
The snow has just started again...little wispy flakes, don't know they'll accumulate enough to even show up on a photo.

Yep, just today DH came home with 2 BIG battery operated lanterns (and batteries). Those things are really bright!
 
Then stock up on batteries!

Went to see my son at college. It was his last baseball game...colder then heck but no snow! We went out for supper and then to Menards and now on our way home. My husband got the rest of the crop out yesterday so talked him into taking an afternoon off even though he's still got tillage left the crop is taken care of

. Had the washer repair out this morning...it went down October 2nd...he ordered the parts and will be back again October 31st. I will not buy an extended warranty ever again as you have to wait so long for them to come.

Hope that was a dishwasher and not your clothes washer - cannot imagine having to wait a month to get it fixed
