It is amazing that you guys and gals are freezing and we are melting .. I reckon we should all just meet somewhere in the middle and have a party!

I would rather freeze than melt. The best temperature to me is somewhere in the 50's. I am cold blooded.

I love it when the temps are in the 90's, but I live in a dry climate. Here it only breaks 100 for a little while, where I lived in SoCal we'd get days, sometimes a week around 110.

Therefore, I'm pretty happy with 90 degree summer temps.

I'll be drinking margaritas with Blooie, but I like mine on the rocks. (And not made with margarita mix!)

Yeah, it is the humidity which is the killer.

Apparently a few people have been hospitalized; collapsed in the heat. Brisbane does not actually have it too bad; some areas are recording 116F and a friend in the mining industry reported it was 122F on site.

Back to the party ... I do not care what I am drinking as long as I am shoulder deep in cool water and do not have to get out
