BigFoot is the local radio station. The Rawlins newspaper ran at least 2 stories about it (front page no less). No pictures that I ever saw, which is fine, lol.

I saw the newspaper accounts, but each one gave me an introductory paragraph and then wanted me to subscribe to read the rest. No thanks!

Every time I pick up a My Pillow it feels like it is made out of shredded up old couches, so I put it back each time. It frightens me.

My car decided it didn't want to start this morning at the doctors clinic. It sure did take me there, but it didn't want to come back home. My husband came and got me. We abandoned it. I'm so annoyed at my car. My husband will arrange to have it towed.

Yeah, that's exactly how they feel! Sorry about your car....stinks when they decide to do that, especially when you aren't at home.

Well I didn't like  "My Pillow," I couldn't stand those things inside.  I'm like the "Princess and the Pea,"  the tiniest things drive me batty. My sister has them and of course thinks they are wonderful.  I have never given in to peer pressure.

But for those that want them -Bed,Bath & Beyond has them  and with BB& B's  20 % off cpn. you save yourself some $$$

What I am using now I got at Kohls- when they had holiday sales and  gimmicky discounts galore.   It's a Sealy*  something (forgive me for I am old) and I got x-tra firm. I like a pillow I can smack into shape.  It doesn't go flat but it goes to the wrong places .  A few punches to the ends and then the middle and it's  good to  go. Plus that's my strenuous exercise for the day.

Kohls frequently has the pillows  50% off  so I think they were $ 14.99 each, minus senior discount and whatever else you can use.  I got 2 for me and 2 for my brother and  l for the other bedroom (only a single bed)

* if anyone wants to know the full product name, I'll go find the plastic wrapper it came in.

I have said that I'm like the princess and the pea many times in my life... surprising how many people don't know what that means

Do you hate wrinkles in your sheets too? I like the pillow I got Black Friday shopping. It's called the perfect pillow and I got it at Herbergers. It's kind of like a memory foam but not as hard or as heavy as some of them can be.

The best sheets I've found are at JC Penneys. They are not totally wrinkle free but they are comfortable. I got some at Target a few years back...I think the name on them were Thomas Obrien...they wrinkle but they are still comfortable. I have not seen them sheets since...I'm sure they make truly wrinkle free sheets but they are probably expensive. I want the sheets of my youth but don't think they make that quality anymore.

@oldhenlikesdogs that stinks about your car! The least it could have done was stay at home to die. Hope the tow and repairs aren't too bad (is that an impossible thing to hope for?).

@DigMyChicks I feel the same way about sheets. I want a neat, made up bed to climb into at night. DH could sleep on a pile of drop cloths.

Hhhhm, Ok, so it is not snow and is, in fact, Lilly Pilly flowers ... I love my Lilly Pilly Tree, even though it is a messy little Syzygium smithii

I walked out this morning and the tree was humming with hundreds of wild bees and the bees were dislodging the very delicate flower stems .. snowing!

Yep, your snow is much prettier and it goes away by itself .. not so much Lilly Pilly flowers

It is a beautiful tree and provides heaps of shade.

I have not ventured into making any but apparently Lilly Pilly jam is very nice. The girls have a great time eating the fruit when it falls.
