The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I was going to make a quick run to town for beef stew makings. When I came [this] close to running over the antelope herd that was standing in the road, decided visibility wasn't great. Guess we're having pasta for dinner instead.

@ronott1 hope the wind changes direction or the fires burn out soon!
Keep safe up there!

There is a grass fire up north of us in a place called Zamora. Hopefully the fire will burn out soon. The smoke seems a bit better now

I also took this one of my turkeys, my camera is on the Fritz and occasionally throws weird colors. This one reminded me of a photo from the 70's.

Groovy colors.

Wishing for snow here, but it will be a while yet.

Awww, look at those cute babies! I love the one on the left in the second photo that's sporting three colours. Your turkeys look gorgeous too - the funky colours suit them!

We've had two days of howling winds and more rain but we have a few days of fine weather coming at us. Maybe I can find the bottom of my laundry pile - it's getting beyond ridiculous.

I can't believe you have snow already Debby - it's only October! In saying that I'm not sure how it can be October already!

Don't waste any nice days on laundry J! Get outside and enjoy :D

As for snow in October...we're a month earlier with that than last year. But I've heard from several old-timers that it has snowed here in July before
