Can't say I've been a ball of fire today, even with my good intentions. Made a trip to the post office, on into town to pick up some stuff, than a 2nd trip to the post office. Went down to the golf course club house to see some of the remodeling work DH is doing, came home and ate a piece of b-day cake. Now my biggest decision is 1) take a nap or 2) make a cup of coffee. Decisions, decisions...

Hey Teila, your 82* sounds good, I don't think we ever got over 32* here today. Did you do something special for Chimee's b-day?

It is a little muggy at the moment but if/when we get some rain that should improve; it is a little windy so that is helping with the humidity.

Chimee got her most favourite food for dinner .. Virgin Flaked Tuna which we have nicknamed Madonna Tuna ;)

Plus, lots of cuddles and a belly rub but she gets those everyday anyways.

I believe the Gecko population came out in force to wish her a happy birthday but none of them appeared willing to sacrifice themselves as a birthday gift :p

Hope you get that rain you want...nothing beats a good soaking rain to get things to grow.

Good for Chimee on her Madonna Tuna! Too bad those self-centered Gecko's weren't willing to participate in Chimee's birthday pleasure. :lol:

:lau Muppets - that's perfect! I have nicknamed them Thistledown and Dandelion, not that I can tell the difference between them! They are incredibly chatty and I've had to give them a fuzzy cloth to snuggle into or they don't settle.

And it's almost time to feed them (and Jellybeans) again. They need a feed every two hours which isn't too bad, but the finches are every hour for now. It's only midday and I'm already looking forward to bedtime!
