The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

My girl got a high quality dry food, plus what ever we were eating. I would drive folks at the store nuts as I poured through the ingredients list and the analysis. And I'm worse with poultry. My local co-op about had a heart attack when I asked who grew the corn, oats and soy. And where did they get their fishmeal from? I want farm names and phone numbers.

Hi Bob! Did your co-op know the answers?

No, but the new feed supplier does. I don't care about "certified" organic, but I want to know how they grow the ingredients and who's around them. Basically, what's my level of risk for herbicides in my feed and are their practices sustainable.

Yeah, I usually order his food online but depending on the brand I sometimes get it locallt. But yeah, I definitely our through the ingredients! Not sure why it would bug people though? It's not their business and if it's an employee I'd just say I don't need help haha

And oh wow, I wish I thought about stuff like that!

It doesn't really matter about garlic...it is a cool season grower and it will grow thru the winter here, but we have plenty that will over-summer in the ground and pop back up this time of year....there isn't any way we can dig as much garlic as is growing here, it is everywhere.....it is all we can do just to pull off most of the blooms to keep it from seeding....:)

Guess you won't have to worry about vampires!

Sigh, does anyone want to go grocery shopping for me? I don't wanna :hit

I do the weeks grocery shopping Saturdays. I do not like it!

I try to avoid weekends (I get that that's not always possible for everyone). But even during the week, everything still costs too much, then you have to stow it in the car, unload it, put it all away. Blah! :sick

Guess I'll drag myself on out there. Apparently not one single cat that lives in this house feels like doing it for me :D
