You can’t bake if you don’t shopI do the weeks grocery shopping Saturdays. I do not like it!
Well, it had no instructions and i had no idea so i just planted it. Get 'er done! Now i know better.I think summer is too early, here it is supposed to be planted in October. Did that for the first time this year, I'll see the results (or not) next summer/fall.

Thanks for verifying my post!If you are where it freezes garlic should be planted in the fall, I generally plant mine September to October. Harvest in late summer after tops die down. Plant your choice of cloves again in the fall. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Pull off the flower heads as they develop or you will end up overrun with garlic like I am.
I'm lucky - there's a grocery chain in New Zealand and you can do your shopping online then they will either deliver your order if you live close enough (for a fee) or you can pick it up at an arranged time for free. So DH can get it on his way home. I find it much quicker and there's no temptation to get things I shouldn't.
I got a new batch of cockatiel babies today. There will be a few more coming then that'll be it for the season.

And my little Jellybeans have started begging for food finally (at 9 days old)! So I think they are going to make it. They are still little ugly bugs and will be for awhile yet. They might be a bit behind too with not eating well for this first week.

And I twisted my husband's arm and we are keeping a third cockatiel. It's the little girl who got squashed by one of her parents and they stopped feeding her. She's turned into such a happy bird and I've put a lot of effort into getting her better. That's her on the left - her feathers are starting to fill out finally and she's looking beautiful. My DD named her Neon Bloom and it suits her - she's bright and chirpy and she sure has bloomed into a beautiful bird. I didn't think the poor, skinny thing would ever walk, let alone climb or perch, when she first came to me.

You could go out to eat 3 times a day, every dayI try to avoid weekends (I get that that's not always possible for everyone). But even during the week, everything still costs too much, then you have to stow it in the car, unload it, put it all away. Blah!
Guess I'll drag myself on out there. Apparently not one single cat that lives in this house feels like doing it for me![]()
