You have a great option with your grocery store I didn't do too badly though, it wasn't busy and I had coupons that saved me almost $60. And the freezer & pantry are full so that's all good.

I hate grocery shopping. Many class me as weird, but I prefer to shop restaurant supply stores in bulk. I don't pay more than $0.40/lbs for bakers flour and sugar. I got my dried beans for $0.19/lbs. I'll cook and can the beans so I have ready beans. The rest of my grains I've bought from farmers I know. I haven't figured out how to grow TP or tissues. I buy "trash" from farmer friends to can up for winter. I know, I'm weird.

My Dad used to love it! He used to go to all the grocery stores to get the best deals. Took me with him when i was little.

My dad loves it too!

He loves going to the big clubs like BJ's (similar to Sam's Club, Costco etc.) And also this store here Market Basket. They have great prices and also quality stuff unlike most of the stores.

I think I probably like it though partly because I'm still young, 23, and only get a few things usually (though sometimes I go crazy with things I didn't know I needed lol) so I'm not like lugging tons of stuff inside. Although even when I do get a lot, I still like it. I don't know, I just love wandering around the store and finding what I need or maybe stuff I didn't know I need or what's on sale, etc.

Dad used to go to Sam's club and buy way too much stuff. Only 2 to feed. After he died, i had to go through all of their stuff. He had canned food 20 years old! I threw out so much stuff!
