The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Shopping as a whole isn't near as exilerating as it once was....it used to be difficult choosing thru different varieties of products as many more people were observant of others and there was a shared, civil excercise in respect and consideration for others and tbis was taught to the children that accompanied the parent. Today, it is a rude, crude, disrespectful experience while trying to not get run over or mauled by both parents and children as ya attempt to make it down an ever narrowing aisle....with 3-4 stopped in the middle of the aisle chatting on phones as they talk amongst theirselves and could care less how long ya have to wait on them, but ya better not hold them up, or they will release the hellions that are tearing up the aisle as they are oblivious to any responsinility for those little hellions.....and when ya final make it to the cashier....ya have to deal with many that are afflicted with that serious disease called Stupidity....it is rampid out there and they are certainly Multiplying....:)

Dad used to go to Sam's club and buy way too much stuff. Only 2 to feed. After he died, i had to go through all of their stuff. He had canned food 20 years old! I threw out so much stuff!

Oh wow!!! I must admit we probably have some pretty old stuff too - the cabinets are always full so sometimes we buy stuff and it gets lost in the back lol

And my grandma used to keep everything too

I used to love it when I was younger too. Now I'm just a cranky old lady trying to buy my Metamucil and oatmeal while fighting off the young folk.:old

:yuckyuck

Sadly probably true!! Although around here thankfully most people get out of the way, or at least I do ha but it does depend what store you are at too. Walmart and such are horrible!

Walmart is where i shop because i go for other things. Husband likes Food Lion. Much better atmosphere!

Btw this is random but I've had a dry mouth off and on for like a week or two and it is really starting to bug me haha
I've never heard of food lion!

I remember Food lion in Chicago when I was a kid.

Dry mouth can be nothing, but it could be something, hopefully it's nothing. Keep drinking water to stay hydrated.

Must be local. Kind of like Stop & Shop or Hannaford's here. Although the Hannaford's near us turned into Big Y.

Or like Giant Eagle in Erie, PA where my mom's family is

And thanks! I probably don't drink enough water but I never have and was fine

I was just barely prediabetic in January though and I went back recently for some pain and got retested along with urine and it was still slightly high but fine. That reminds me, I still need to do the stool test ha sorry tmi. Anyway, I should probably go back cause the mouth thing is new and I have some other random things and maybe it's related

But it is sometimes after exercise and sometimes just randomly or even when I eat it dries out fast

I'm also a mouth breather

Idk, I just find it odd I never had it and then all of a sudden I do and nothing has changed.

Are you injesting too much sugar? That could do it.

Maybe? I do eat tons of sugar and have been going to Subway every day just about since classes started up again in September (there is one right next to my school)
