Today Debby, Violet and the molting Road Runner were all 3 singing the egg song - And guess what???? Violet Wellsummer laid her first today :wee. Debby laid hers in the juvenile coop, Violet laid hers in the "big coop" :)

Road Runner didn't lay but I think still has some eggs in her even at 4.5 years old...maybe once the molt is over. ;).

Still have two freeloaders, so maybe they will start to sing soon?

This is one month since Debby laid her first - pic of Debby's smaller first and Violet"s true small egg laid today :

Thanks - I don't know but Debby's egg may have lightened in fridge, but Violets are definitely darker in color :) Saving the first for ornaments :bun

Yep, Debby's other eggs are a lot darker - all are still in fridge...and hers are now strongly small in size :)
