Bit of a late start getting here. Slow lazy incredibly windy day.
Hope you all have a great one!!!

See, that's how they sucker you in. By the time you totally love them, they are grown into cookbook eating hair-shedding balls of orneriness.

It took me forever to locate a local fencing company to trust, but guess what?
I signed a contract to get a fenced in play-yard for my flock :ya. No idea how long it will take them to get the fencing, it's a special order. Brown Vinyl Coated chain linked fence, 6 foot tall by 100 foot almost circular area. And a 4x4 center pole to hold up hawk netting. Now to figure how much netting and how to attach it :)

Wonderful! You'll have to keep us up on how it goes. Your girls are going to have a great safe place to hang out (and you a place to hang out with them).

I got 100 feet of 4 foot chain link for the Nigerians i will be getting some day... when the goat shed gets finished!

I can later expand it to let some goats sneak in ;). Still want some, some day. Do you already have a source for them once the shed does get finished?

I do regret I could have had it done by now, DH made the call and had them visit here this week :) The center pole will be 10 feet above ground....so I will be able to easily walk any where out there, DH will have to watch his noggin at the edges he's 6'1" :gig.

We do have to remove a lot of natural stones I laid in most of the area in the past - will go over it closely and leave those that are really big and smooth.

Maybe shredding the book was really a bookmark of what they want you to bake:D

I could go along with that but she mostly got was the cover. My fault for falling asleep on the couch next to the coffee table and not thinking about it when I staggered off to bed.

Pip is such a strange girl. She's so quiet sometimes we call her Stealth Kitty. You don't always know what she's up to until you hear something going riiiiipppppp. And lately, she's decided laying on her back with all 4 feet in the air is comfortable, like this...

Such a nut, but we love her.

If memory serves the vineyards run 1/8" cable from the center pole to the outer poles (not all of them) and zip tie or hog ring the net to the cable.
