The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Glad to see you back "home" and feeling better!!! I'll pass the birthday greeting on to the Kens in my life! Take it easy for a few days yet, okay?

Love this picture of Ken....posted it on his FB page today for his birthday! I am evil, and must be destroyed....

Great picture B, that should get a few laughs (and some ribbing for Ken)!

If I can only get rid of this bone-racking cough, I'd be good as gold. If I take it any easier than I did yesterday, DH is going to start checking for my breath with a mirror.

And it has been a long one, @ronott1 - but aside from our anniversary next month and the rest of the grands' and great-grands' birthdays being scattered over the next 10 months, we're done with mass birthdays until next December. :wee

What year for the anniversary Blooie?

Nice!

It is nice to have them spread out

Oh, dear, you got that one, did you? :hugs

We had a cold like that make the rounds here around Thanksgiving. Didn't seem that bad at first, mostly cough, but lingered, and lingered, and lingered . . . . It does go away eventually, though.

Thanks Bunny. DH hooked me up with some cough syrup and an expectorant so that should help. This time of year is good for colds, coughs, flu, etc. Kind of like the cherry on top of the holiday sundae.

It'll be our 50th - well, would be if there WAS a February 29th. But no matter, I'll be spending the 26th in St. Vincent's with the gastroenterologist, then the 28th back up there for Pulmonary Function study and the pulmonologist. On the 27th is a secret meeting that I'm not supposed to know anything about (ever try to keep secrets in a 10X60 mobile home with just paneling for room dividers?) and since it's a secret meeting with a secret award being given to me, I guess I gotta go to that too. If Ken has one more day like yesterday, I may let him squirm...."Honey, it's your meeting, you go ahead and go" or "Gee that appointment yesterday took a lot out of me and I don't feel up to going." That'd go over big since we're in the northern part of the state and big-wigs are driving in from all over the rest of the state in the dead of winter to see the presentation, and the second in command of the whole organization nationally will be here to do the presenting! :lau:gig

Seems like this winter has been really mild up in these parts for cold and flu, but it's been so doggone cold and nasty that I think most folks are staying home. Doesn't mean Katie, Evan and Kendra won't eventually bring it home from school with them, but for now all is well!:fl
