Yeah, we moved here in May so some time after that but when i tried to dig them up they were still small. Frost killed the plants but i covered the ground with hay bales. Hoping they may grow vines if they make it through winter.If I let him bake he would eat it all. Need to put him on a diet, and anytime I mention it...he points his paw at me
Wow a great looking carrot. We tried growing those in ground and in a pot and never had any luck. Sweet potatoes? In Georgia they are a summer crop and dug up in the early fall, when did you plant yours?

The quest for a better sweet potato began our veggie garden....after a few years we stopped trying, can find some decent ones locally grown and they take a lot of space.
