Hubby’s birthday is coming up in the next few weeks and he has mentioned that he would like an Angel Food Cake which I have never baked before. Apparently it is tricky to get it right. I have perused a few recipes on line but just wondering if anyone has any tried and tested recipes or tips?

I knew you were going to get good advice from many before I got here. Personally I like their advice better than mine.

I remember watching Mum’s 3 cats one day when they had a mouse trapped in the garden; he was stuck between the three of them. However, they were so busy watching each other to ensure that they would be the one to get the mouse, none of them noticed him sneaking off and making his escape! LOL

Yep, I do enjoy the challenge of replicating and also the satisfaction if I get it right or close. None of us have been able to get the Steak Diane just right though. She put some secret ingredient in and none of us have worked out what that was .. yet ;)

All this food talk is making me hungry lol well, not hungry actually I guess cause I feel like I could go without eating for a while after the meal I just had. :lau but I mean the desserts sound soo good and I want to try them. Especially those angel food cakes.

Also I went to the doctor today for my physical and also got blood work, which worked out cause I hadn't eaten all day lol, and got my flu shot was there. Anyway, I got the flu shot then the lab (I was paranoid they were gonna suck the vaccine back out :lau ) . But anyway, felt perfectly 100% fine all day (well, besides the fact I didn't sleep like at all) and then as soon as I left the doctor my throat started hurting/scratching and my joints/bones and everything are sore and ache. I swear the shot made me sick. Or maybe the office. Shoulda worn one of those sick masks lol

The shot can't make you sick. It has probably been incubating in you for days, whatever you have.
