The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We get the Asian beetles year round, Don't recall if I've seen any "real" lady bugs now that I've found out what we are seeing are ABs.

A few months ago I found where a lot of them thought they might spend the winter. I opened the bathroom door that opens on to the back deck and heard a rattling sound. Scores of them (many dead) were dropping down between the door jamb and the rubber insulation "flap" on both sides of the door.

Hey k! How was the trip? Who was it you saw in concert?

It was great thanks!

I saw my friends in The Millenium. They're a smaller band and this was their only east coast date because they're only doing a short week long tour of their favorite venues and playing their most recent album in full for the first time. So we went to Brooklyn. :) we got got in Friday and got back late last night. We went to Times Square and Central Park and stuff too

And I got VIP because it was free with the tickets if you bought them during a certain week in December and only available then (you couldn't buy it after) so yeah. And tickets were only $10, at least for mine, i got them from their merch site. The VIP wasn't really super organized although better than last time hah but basically you just got in an hour early and they played a few older songs although they didn't start till 20 mins to half hour after but that's better cause I was slightly late. And got a poster and random picture. Could be from practice or tour or whatever. Matt picked me a nice city skyline one he took haha I forget what city he said it was though. I think maybe New York? Idk. I also bought a wall flag.

And I thought I'd like all the openers (different at every show) but I didn't really like any of them :/ usually I do. I didn't really give most a chance though. But anyway, so I mostly sat in the front room/bar part and charged my phone lol but I was there for them and the one right before them who I did like. And my mom went. Plus I talked to them off and on when I saw them so I still had fun :)

Except we mostly dragged our luggage all around the city LOL and wr brought way too much stuff and did way too much walking so I was pretty tired hahaha and it was cloudy/rainy most of the time but as much as it seems I am complaining I really did have a fun time. :)

The first night I got a migraine so we had to go back to the hotel at like 5 and barely got to do anything although we did walk all of Times Square or quite a bit of it. We just didn't get to go in the wax museum or do much fun. We did eat at the Hard Rock Cafe though even though I didn't really eat mine. Although it's weird after I got back outside I felt mostly better. But I didn't want to risk going into a hot building and getting sick again so it's better we went back. I slept well.

But next time I think we won't take so much stuff and I will hopefully not be sick lol

But i brought a ginormous suitcase that must have been like 50 pounds or at least 25 lol

It thankfully has wheels though
